Fun fact: 12 of the first 13 presidents have Chicago street names (Sorry John Tyler)
There is a Clinton street in Chicago, but it’s named after DeWitt Clinton, who had a role in the construction of the Erie Canal and was a US Senator from New York
The CTA has 2 Clinton stops on the L, one on the Blue line and one on the Pink and Green Lines (transfer station)
On the snazzy new 5000 Series ‘L’ cars there are message boards announcing the stops, as well as audio announcements, and the announcements appear to be foreshadowing the election results tonight, if one was not familiar with the other Mr Clinton.
(Audio and sign — Clinton is Next!)
In any case, at this stop, the doors always open on the Left.
